 Previously known as Transport Innovations the Technology Zone has now
been incorporated into the heart of Coach & Bus Live reflecting the
pivotal
role that technology plays in the lives of bus and coach operators.
As one of
the central features in the show, it will highlight the many ways
that operators
and local authorities can benefit and improve their
passenger transport
offerings with the aid of the new processes and
systems on display.
Without doubt, the adoption of new technology, be it in improving the efficiency of vehicle operation or the enhancement of the passenger experience, has accelerated over the past few years as bus and
coach operators seek new ways of attracting and retaining
customers, in many cases from sectors unfamiliar with the coach and
bus product offering. As the demand for public transport rises there is a special focus on systems delivering passenger transport information, from real-time details to timetables and journey planning.
